Taiwan is planning to launch a new round of infrastructure investment, as COVID-19 outbreak is gradually being contained with positive signs emerging.
“The Construction of New Infrastructures” is not a new concept. It mainly includes seven sections such as 5G networks, UHV power transmission projects, inter-city transit systems and high-speed railways, new energy vehicles and charging piles, big data centers, industrial internet and artificial intelligence.
It is worth mentioning that APOLLO’s strategic plan is highly consistent with the seven new industries involved, which indicates that under the great challenge brought by the COVID-19 outbreak, APOLLO has the willpower, potential and confidence to face the current circumstances and achieve greater growth in a new round of development opportunities in response to the policy of central government.
The construction of new infrastructures has attracted tens of trillions of yuan of investment support. The ability to “attract funds” is proven to demonstrate the high priority attached by the government and the importance of new infrastructure to economic development.
In the face of the COVID-19 outbreak, a series of information technologies such as 5G, big data, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things have played an important role. New infrastructure construction not only contributes to the fight against current epidemic but also provides a strong endogenous driving force for economic growth.
